Christine Byl

Christine Byl spent 11 years working on and leading trail crews for the NPS and USFS in Glacier NP, Chugach Ranger District, and Denali NP, and the last 17 seasons in the private sector as half of Interior Trails LLC. She brings energy and determination to any project, and is the field calculator who's always thinking ahead to the next step. Her favorite tool is either the rock bar or the pick-mattock or the rogue hoe or the chainsaw or the foot in a good boot. She keeps the big picture in mind, works easily with all kinds of people, and always has a string cheese on hand. In addition to being a traildog, she's a writer and a teacher.
