Andrew Mueller

I'm a lifelong adventurer and creative with a love for the great outdoors. I grew up in the southeastern US where I attended Appalachian State University. My interest in trails grew from exploring the public lands of western NC, where I eventually was introduced to trailbuilding as a profession. I relocated to Frederick, Maryland for my wife's career in science in 2014. Formerly a partner in Elevated Trail Design, I founded Greenstone in 2019 and have been enjoying the challenges of business ever since. I have a passion for travel and have explored the trails of North and South America, Europe, and beyond by bike and on foot.
