Trails Unlimited LLC has been in existence for over 40 years but until I retired in 2015 I was only able to utilize my business name outside of the Fed. Govt.  until the Enterprise Program began on 1998.  The Enterprise program used my name until I retired in 2015.  I have designed, planned, implemented and managed trail systems within 5 different fed. agencies (NPS, BLM, FS, BOR, BOReclaimation and COE.  I first worked with Harvey Bell in 1980.  I have attended most conferences beginning when the organization called itself the Western Trail Builders Association.   I was the first individual to introduce the concept of Trail Bulldozers when I first helped to develop the SWECO 450-480 and the SUTTER 300, 480-500 dozers.  I developed the first certification program for trail equipment, when the Forest Service/ BLM accepted my course of training as certification qualified.  I have been Planning, Designing, Assessing, Constructing trails, bridges, boardwalks and ADA accessible trails for over 40 years beginning with my Eagle Scout Project - improving, maintaining and signing the Kit Carson Trail now a part of the Pacific Crest National Scenic Trail.
