About Three Chillies Design
I am the director of our company that has grown rather large now :)
However I started this as a one man band 18 odd years ago. My passion is still there, even though I spend more time driving a desk than a possi track now a days.
Our web site only covers say the last 3 years of work done under Three Chillies Design Pty Ltd. Before that I was a sole trader with a smaller team, but with a massive amount of work behind it.
I and we as a company, have developed the use of acrylic polymers to create hard wearing surfaces without using asphalt as the wear course. This has been developed over the last 8 odd years, all in house with great support and understanding from our clients. Check out the website for photos or google the projects in the project folder for user created content. We also developed the use of solid concrete blocks as rhythm jump faces, to keep them fit for purpose, for my lifetime anyway :)
If the jump lip stays true as it was designed, the jump keeps working as it was designed to do. This certainly has worked well over the years. We dropped back and retro fitted them into most of the clay jumps we built prior.
Thanks to our work, we probably have the highest ratio of awesome, low maintenance public jump areas per capita, any where in the world.
The Boo Park space for the City of Fremantle has had trail counter put in place. The numbers that came back are along the line of 4,200 passes over the two tracks in space of a weekend. The positive outcome from this small space are astounding and show the importance of these spaces in our urban environments.
We then go to our trail jobs, like the Goat Farm MTB Park, Nannup MTB Park, the soon to open Bindoon MTB Park and then there are surfaced trails in sand dunes like Sandpatch or WOW trail in Denmark Western Australia.
