About Maine Trail Builders

Maine Trail Builders (MTB) was founded in 2018 to build the first public, machine built mountain bike trails in Southern Maine.  Since that time, we have worked with numerous private landowners, municipalities, land conservation organizations and local chapters of the New England Mountain Bike Association (NEMBA) to construct public and private trail networks.

To date, we have built public trails in Wolfeboro, NH as well as numerous communities in Maine including: Falmouth, Portland, Arundel, Bethel, Millinocket, Bangor and Greenville. We designed and constructed a private trail network in Freeport, ME which was featured in the Pearl Izumi short documentary "Flow".  Our recently completed bike park at Riverton Trolley Park in Portland was featured in the Mountain Gazette.

Products & Services

We specialize in designing and building pump tracks and bike parks, including mountain bike flow trails and technical single-track.  We also enjoy building stone stair sets, hiking trails and accessible trails.
