Far North Trail Company is a Michigan-based Trail Construction company that specializes in natural surface mountain bike trail building. Our primary focus lies in creating sustainable and enjoyable trails catering to all skill levels. With over 15 years experience mountain biking and trail building, we have honed our expertise in designing and constructing single track trails, progressive jump lines, skills areas, pump tracks, and undertaking repair and maintenance work. Our commitment to excellence and dedication to the sport of mountain biking is what drives us to excel in every project we undertake.
Products & Services
Design and consulting work - Terrain assessment, trail feasibility and flagging. We evaluate the terrain for construction feasibility and plot the trails route with flag lines and mapping.
New construction - Consisting of machine and hand built trails, specializing in natural surface trail construction with a strong focus on sustainable building techniques. Servicing public and private trail projects. Purpose built mountain bike trails for all skill levels and riding styles, including jump lines, pump tracks, and adaptive trails. Multi use trail construction, Hiking, ATV, Equestrian and land access.
Maintenance - Tread repair, erosion control and water mitigation. We revamp existing trails with problem areas from overgrowth, high use, water damage, and erosion.
