Rock Solid’s origin’s tie back to the beautiful, remote town of Copper Harbor, Michigan, located in the northernmost tip of the Keweenaw Peninsula. Aaron Rogers, President and Owner, has been building and riding trails there for nearly 15 years.

Aaron/Rock Solid’s dogged determination and hard work (locals call it sisu) —alongside the Copper Harbor Trails Club— has transformed the trail network into the notable mountain biking destination it is today.

What started as a vision to improve his local trails turned Copper Harbor into an IMBA Silver Ride Center with more than 80 trails, the supporting infrastructure of 2 bike friendly campgrounds, a sustainable off-grid farm to help produce food for the community, and a brewery. Oh, plus a bike park in Aaron's backyard, complete with shuttles in the form of decommissioned military vehicles.

Rock Solid continues to be actively involved in building and maintaining this ever-growing system that attracts tens of thousands of riders each year, including building 10+ miles of new trail in the summer of 2023.
