I have run a small construction company in the Washington DC area since 1986. Around 2000, I started getting in involved with trail work with the local trail club. I discovered trail building melded my love of the out-of- doors with my love of building.  With over twenty years of experience in trail building, maintenance, and volunteer leadership and training, I decided it was time to turn my passion into a profession. This allows me to combine my passion for trail building, my need to do things right, my attention to detail, and my love of sharing knowledge and skills.
