Jake Carsten

Jake has been a professional trail planning / designer / builder since 2011. Jake got his start on the IMBA-Subaru Trail Care Crew and has been performing consulting work as Dirt Dojo LLC ever since. From 2018-2022 Jake led the planning/design efforts at Rock Solid Trail Contracting. Jake also authored the latest IMBA Trail Development Guildlines publication, released in May of 2023. 

Jake is excited to lead the effort to bring the asphalt pump track expertise of Alliance Action Sports Experts to the US. Having designed and built over 200 asphalt pump tracks throughout Europe, Alliance ASE has mastered the design and construction of the tracks, using fully engineered solutions to ensure a worry-free product.
